The Dream Machine 2

Well I have had a good look around for the sewing machine and thought that since I am starting out I should buy a cheap machine, however after talking to many people who sew they recommend that I spend a little more and get a good machine. Am looking foward to actually going out and buying one.

Cushion Inspiration

Today I am going to go look around for a sewing machine in between going to the market and catching up with friends for a cupcake (got to love saturdays). I have already thought of what I am going to make first and that is a cushion. I have bought some material for my cushion, it is black, white and gold stripe in a heavy cotton fabric. Hopefully it will look something like this.

The Dream Machine

So I have started to think about buying a sewing machine and have been searching around for a sewing machine for beginners. There is a pink and white one at spotlight so am considering on buying it this weekend. However, I do not have a table to put it on yet so will have to get one of those as well.

The Dream

This my first ever post on my first ever blog. I have decided to start sewing as my grandmother made my mothers wedding dress, and my mum made mine, and I will endeavour to make my future daughters wedding dress one day.... so this my blog and the start of my sewing journey.
