The start

 

 

The pictures that I have posted above are of me and my own wedding (which was a few years ago now). At the start of the wedding planning process I had a few ideas of what I wanted for my wedding dress but could not find it in the stores so my mother who is nothing short of brilliant made me my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses too. This is why I titled this post "the start" as it was the start of my sewing journey so that one day I could make my daughter her wedding dress and she could make her daughter a dress too. Well that's the plan anyway!

Project Nursery Bunting Part 2

 

Hi, I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days I actually got kicked out of my account because I forgot my password (oops). But i'm back yay! Last weekend I picked some fabric from Spotlight and it is very cute, the photo does not do it justice. Really looking foward to starting this project but have been very busy the last few days. I have had a fabulous weekend so far, it is so lovely and warm and have been enjoying the day at the beach. Looking foward to posting again with the progress of this project.

Project Nursery Bunting

Hope that everyone is having a lovely weekend. I know I am, we've had beautiful weather which definitely helps. Yesterday it got to 32 degrees celcius which was lovely. As for the nursery bunting pictures I have decided to make my friend Anna a bunting for the soon to be baby's bedroom. They have not found out the sex of the baby so the colours that I am going to choose for the bunting will be fairly neutral but still very cute. Will post more pictures as the projects goes along.

Blueberry pancakes

Good morning. This lovely sunny day I got up early and made myself and my husband blueberry pancakes with bacon and maple syrup yum! We are helping my sister in law to move houses today so it will be good to see her and my inlaws

Happy new year! I have been a very very very slack blogger as almost completely forgot about my blog and how much I enjoy posting things on it. From now on I am going to be more organised and try to post regularly. Have got a busy 2013 planned so far with moving to canada to live and getting a new job. Will post all the details on here closer to the time
